Welcome to Hazzard County, where cousins Bo (John Schneider), Luke (Tom Wopat) and Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) along with their Uncle Jesse (Denver Pyle) are determined to bring Hazzard County's two biggest miscreants to justice--the irrepressible Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) and his sidekick, Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane (James Best).
The Dukes strap into their 1969 Dodge Charger, nicknamed "The General Lee," and set off on some wild adventures fighting crime and corruption in the hills of Georgia. Daisy's unmistakable beauty and natural charms never fail to get Boss Hogg's minions hot under the collar, while the wild antics of Bo and Luke lead them into a series of sticky situations in this well-loved television series.
The Dukes of Hazzard, created by Gy Waldron, debuted in January of 1979 and was an instant success. A staple of CBS’s Friday night lineup, the show was a Top 20 CBS series for six of its seven seasons on air. Dukes held the #1 spot in its time period across those six seasons, making it one of the most popular television series of all time. The last episode aired in 1985, but The Dukes of Hazzard fan support is still strong, with hundreds of websites and products devoted to the legendary series. And the Duke Boys have never been stronger with the series’ resurgence on Country Music Television and the much-anticipated theatrical debut in 2005.
